• Stribling Equipment, one of the largest John Deere Dealerships in the South, has a Receptionist opportunity in our dealership. We are seeking an individual that will relate well to our customers, respect and appreciate our technical team, and support our Parts Department. • The Receptionist is responsible for providing secretarial support services as designated; responsible for incoming telephone calls, greeting visitors and directing customers to the appropriate department as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls; provide information, and take messages for Stribling Equipment.
• Greet customers and guests entering the facility, determine the nature and purpose of the visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
• Provide information about the facility such as location of departments, offices, or employees within the organization, and services provided.
• Daily Log of mail distribution
• Daily Log of Guests and/or Staff entering and exiting the branch
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1-3 years of professional experience and/or training in clerical/administrative duties; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver License with clean MVR
• Highly proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and web-programs
• Professional appearance and courteous attitude
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and professionalism
• Able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
