Job description

• Join our team in McPherson,KS a city known for its thriving manufacturing industry and welcoming community. As a member of our production team, you will be responsible for the general assembly of components according to product specifications, engineering drawings, work orders, and quality procedures. You will receive cross-training in various tasks, including grinding, completing assembly checklists, testing parts, and monitoring stock bins. Your role will require the use of a variety of hand and pneumatic tools, and you will report directly to the Production Supervisor and the Plant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components according to blueprints, routers, work orders, checklists, and specifications to build, assemble, and test parts and finished goods that meet quality standards in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Accurately complete assembly checklists.
• Monitor stock bins in the work area and report stock needs to Shop Floor Lead(s).
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures.
• Adhere to the company's Code of Conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess basic math skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work effectively unsupervised.
• Strategic and creative thinking to analyze issues and create solutions.
• Ability to respond positively to feedback and implement changes in processes and procedures as needed.
• Ability to understand and interpret drawings, BOMs, and procedures.
