• AI-Enabled Supplier Performance Analytics and Procurement Process Transformation
• This internship project focuses on developing data-driven and AI-Enabled solutions to improve supplier performance visibility, procurement analytics, and process efficiency within Front End Capital Procurement Operations.
• The intern will undertake a structured project involving supplier performance analysis, capital equipment delivery tracking, procurement dashboard development, and workflow optimization. The intern will also explore how Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, AI Assistants, and Agentic AI can improve data analysis, reporting, knowledge retrieval, and decision-making.
• Objective of the Project
• Develop an analytical framework that improves visibility into supplier performance, capital equipment delivery, and procurement activities.
• Apply data analytics and AI-Enabled methodologies to identify supply risks, operational trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate procurement workflows and recommend opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and automation.
• Create scalable reporting and decision-support solutions that improve procurement efficiency and stakeholder communication.
• High-performing interns who demonstrate strong learning agility, effective collaboration, and successful project outcomes may be considered for future internship or full-time employment opportunities, subject to business needs and hiring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Relationship Management
• Analyze supplier performance metrics, equipment delivery commitments, business review information, and relevant operational trends.
• Develop structured methods to track supplier performance and identify potential delivery or supply risks.
• Participate in selected supplier engagements and Quarterly Business Reviews to learn how performance expectations and continuous improvement priorities are communicated.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, operations, and supplier stakeholders to validate analytical findings and improvement opportunities.
• Procurement Systems and Analytics
• Develop or enhance procurement dashboards, tracking tools, and data visualization solutions using Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms.
• Integrate relevant procurement and supply chain information to improve equipment delivery and supplier performance visibility.
• Explore Artificial Intelligence and Agentic AI applications for procurement data management, insight generation, and decision support.
• Establish appropriate documentation and data validation methods to improve the usability and reliability of the solution.
• Data Analysis and Insights
• Analyze procurement and supply chain datasets to identify trends, risks, performance gaps, and optimization opportunities.
• Apply suitable statistical and data visualization techniques to translate complex information into actionable business insights.
• Explore Generative AI and AI Assistant capabilities for data interpretation, report preparation, and knowledge retrieval.
• Process Excellence
• Map selected procurement workflows and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, or automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand process requirements and validate proposed improvements.
• Design and evaluate recommendations that improve process efficiency, data quality, and operational effectiveness.
• Gain exposure to semiconductor capital procurement, supplier relationship management, and supply chain operations.
• Learn how supplier performance and procurement decisions are informed by analytics, business requirements, and digital technologies.
• Develop practical experience using Power BI, Excel, data visualization, and workflow automation tools.
• Explore real-world applications of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, AI Assistants, Large Language Models, and Agentic AI in procurement.
• Strengthen stakeholder engagement, structured problem-solving, presentation, and process improvement skills.
• Supplier Performance Analytics Framework: A structured dashboard or analytical solution that improves visibility into supplier performance, equipment delivery, supply risks, and relevant operational indicators.
• AI-Enabled Procurement Tracking Solution: A functional proof of concept that uses AI-Enabled analytics, Generative AI, an AI Assistant, or an Agentic Solution to improve reporting, data interpretation, or decision support.
• Process Optimization Review: A documented assessment of selected procurement workflows, including improvement recommendations and implemented enhancements where feasible.
• Final Project Package: Project documentation and a presentation summarizing the methodology, findings, outcomes, limitations, and proposed next steps. A final presentation of internship deliverables is consistent with the internship program’s completion process.

Requirements

• Strong interest in procurement, supply chain management, supplier relationship management, business analytics, or digital transformation.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and communicate meaningful insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity in Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders in a global environment.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Agentic AI, AI Assistants, Large Language Models, automation tools, or AI-Enabled workflows is advantageous.
• The ideal candidate should be pursuing a Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Chemistry, Science, or a related field.
• The ideal candidate should be able to commit to a full time internship period of 5 to 6 months, from January 2027 to May or June 2027.
