Job description
- At Toll Group, we're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Coordinator to join our Melbourne team and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers.
- As a Customer Service Coordinator, you'll be the vital link between customers, warehouse operations and transport teams, ensuring orders are processed accurately, communication is proactive, and service levels are consistently achieved. You'll manage customer enquiries, coordinate orders, resolve issues, maintain operational data, and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Customer Account Management, respond promptly and professionally to all customer enquiries.
- Order Coordination, process customer orders accurately and on time using systems such as PWMS and RAMCO.
- Communication, proactively update customers on order status, stock availability, and delivery timelines.
- Team Collaboration, liaise daily with Customer Service, Warehouse, and Transport teams to ensure timely dispatch.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions.
- Reporting, prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on order accuracy, delivery performance, and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Experience in a customer service or logistics coordination.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); exposure with PWMS, RAMCO, or similar WMS/ERP systems, but can be trained
- Exposure to warehousing or transport logistics environments; understanding of chemical handling and compliance documentation (e.g., SDS, PPE).
- High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborative and solutions-focused mindset.
- You must be entitled to work in Australia and be prepared to undertake pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical.
