- Northrop Grumman's Space Systems Sector is seeking a Software Engineer - Level 3/4 to join our team. This position is located in Redondo Beach, CA.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will develop and sustain several mission operational SW product lines, as well as develop new capabilities. You will join a large team comprising of multiple subsystems, each with a specialized software focus. We are looking for an energetic and passionate software engineer to join our team as we work to provide innovative solutions to complex issues in support of our national security mission.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; PhD with 1 year of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance and SCI access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company prior to start date
- Advanced Object-Oriented programming skills
- Experience with C++ programming
- Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees, management, and stakeholders
- Previous participation on an Agile scrum team or familiarity with the Agile process
- Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
- Experience developing in a Linux environment using git
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
- Active TS/SCI security clearance

- Secondary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00
- The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
