- Provides strategic leadership and oversight of financial operations for the Houston Childcare Project. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while safeguarding fiscal integrity, forecasting budgets, and guiding decision-making to maximize program impact.
- • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- • Oversee accounting, payroll, and procurement functions.
- • Monitor grant and contract compliance with funder regulations.
- • Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for leadership and funders.
- • Advise senior leadership on financial risks, opportunities, and strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in non-profit or government-funded programs.
- Expertise in GAAP, cost allocation, and grants management.
